The twelfth of October 2017 marked the end of the second term of office of RNDr. Martin Bunček, Ph.D. (Chairperson of the TA CR), Ing. Miroslav Janeček, CSc. and doc. Dr. Ing. Vladimír Kebo in the Presidium of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA CR). They will be replaced in their positions by three new members who have been nominated by the Government Council for Research, Development and Innovation. A total of 26 proposals, of which 14 candidates were nominated, were submitted by 15 May 2017.
On 25 September 2017 (link to the government resolution), the Government appointed Dr. Ing. Zdeněk Kůs, Rector of the Technical University in Liberec, Mgr. Martin Duda, who is Director of the Innovation Support Centre at the VŠB–Technical University of Ostrava, and Ing. Jiří Plešek, CSc., Director of the Institute of Thermo-mechanics of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, to the Presidium of the TA CR.
Ing. Petr Očko, Ph.D. (Chairperson of the TA CR), whose first term of office expires on 21 March 2020, and Ing. Pavel Komárek, CSc., whose second term of office also expires on 21 March 2020, remain in their positions.
