On 31 May 2017, Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA CR) organized a seminar on innovation partnerships and the first preliminary market consultation for a project to be implemented with this new type of procedure - innovation partnership. The innovation partnership is a new type of public procurement for contracting authorities within the European Union, regulated by the Directive 2014/24 / EU of 26 February 2014 on Public Procurement, and in the Czech Republic implemented by the Act no. 134/2016 Coll., On Public Procurement. TA CR will apply the innovation partnership procedure under the BETA2 program, which is focused on public services contracts in the field of applied research and innovation for the needs of the government authorities.
Within the framework of the Presidency of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA CR) in the TAFTIE European network of innovation agencies, representatives of the innovation agencies’ branches met in Brussels on the 6th of June 2017 with representatives of TA CR. The Chairman of the Board of TA CR Petr Očko, together with Martin Bunček, Vice-Chairman of the Board of TA CR, took part in a closed meeting with Carlos Moedas, EU Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation. They also met the High-Level Group on maximizing the impact of EU Research and Innovation Programmes, the so-called Lamy’s group. This group is preparing not only an evaluation of the H2020 programme, but also a position for the next European Commission (EC) framework programme.
This is the motto of the upcoming TAFTIE Annual Conference to take place in Prague on June 16th, 2017. Experts from 29 European TAFTIE member agencies, as well as oversea will meet in order to discuss several issues - data availability, collection, storage, processing, evaluation and proper use for programming and programmes implementation. These issues are neuralgic points for many agencies.
On 30 May 2017, the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA CR) announced the fifth public tender for research and experimental development (hereinafter referred to as the Public Tender) for the DELTA Programme for the Support of Applied Research and Experimental Development (hereinafter referred to as the DELTA Programme).
For the second time during the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic’s (TACR) chairmanship of TAFTIE, representatives of this European network of top R&D and innovation agencies met in Prague on April 24, 2017. Under the symbolic motto Meeting of Two Worlds and the introductory remarks of Miroslav Janeček, member of the TAFTIE Presidium, this time the expert part of the second annual meeting focused on various forms of collaboration in centres.
