About SOILCON

The conference “SOILCON – Ground for future cooperation in Europe” on EEA & Norway Grants synergies with the EU Mission “A Soil Deal for Europe” is organized by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic, the Programme Operator of the Czech research programme under EEA and Norway Grants, in cooperation with the Technology Centre Prague and the Research Council of Norway, and is organised under the auspices of Helena Langšádlová, the Czech Minister for Science and Research, and Victor Conrad Rønneberg, the Ambassador of Norway in Prague.

Leading European experts discuss mission-oriented policies, in particular the mission “A Soil Deal for Europe”, transformation towards healthy soil and synergies between EU Missions and EEA and Norway Grants and other instruments.

The scope of the conference covers not only the topic of healthy Soil, but also clean Water and Forests. Part of the conference is dedicated to projects contributing to the mission and relevant topics, not only from among the EEA and Norway Grants beneficiaries across Europe, but also the representatives of other relevant European projects. Researchers have the opportunity to present their projects or engage in matchmaking.
