The Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (hereinafter “TA CR”) announces the results of the first Call for Proposals of the KAPPA funding programme for applied research, experimental development and innovation financed by EEA and Norway Grants, announced
on November 20, 2019.
TA CR anticipates concluding a Project Contract with the applicants of the following project proposals.
TA CR does not anticipate concluding a Project Contract with the applicants of the following project proposals, which were recommended
for funding, but due to the limited allocation available for this Call for Proposals, the Project Contract will not be concluded with the applicants
of the project proposals recommended for funding. These project proposals form a reserve list. In case of an increase of the allocation in this Call for Proposals or in case of a failure to conclude the Project Contract with the project proposals where the conclusion of a Project Contract is anticipated, the Project Contract will be concluded preferably with the applicants of the project proposals on this list.
TA CR does not anticipate concluding a Project Contract with the applicants of the following project proposals, which were recommended
for funding, but due to the limited allocation available for this Call for Proposals, the Project Contract will not be concluded with the applicants
of the project proposals recommended for funding.
TA CR does not anticipate concluding a Project Contract with the applicants of the following project proposals, because these project proposals were not recommended for funding.
In total, 163 project proposals were submitted to this Call for Proposals, 154 project proposals proceeded to the evaluation out of which
25 project proposals in total will be funded.
The applicant and project partner(s) of the project proposals, where TA CR anticipates concluding a Project Contract, shall:
1. Submit the information on the applicant and project partner(s) and on the persons that act as their statutory bodies or are members
of those bodies, by sending via a data box individually per each applicant or a project partner established in Czechia / by email
to kappa@tacr.cz and also in paper form by post in case of project partners from Donor States and third countries (who do not have
a data box):
- the form „Request for the Extract from the Criminal Register – Natural Person“, or
- the originals of the extracts from the Criminal Register of these persons not older than 90 calendar days.
2. Send 2 originals of the signed Project Contract including the Key Project Parameters and the Project Partner’s Acceptance in paper form.
3. Document other facts stated in the Decision on Result of the Call
for Proposals.
The applicants will be informed about the above-mentioned facts in the Decision on Result of the Call for Proposals via the data box.

The evaluation reports of the individual project proposals will be available in the upcoming days in the information system ISTA (under the individual project proposal via menu PROJECTS → My projects → Project proposal → Evaluation).
There is no legal entitlement to funding. Revocation of the TA CR´s Decision is not possible, the main applicant may file an appeal against TA CR´s Decision to the Supervisory Board of TA CR in accordance with the Directive SME-08 on Appeals in Calls for Proposals.
