KAPPA Programme: The call for proposals is closed

Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TACR) closed the call for proposals within the KAPPA Programme on 27 February 2020.
The interest in the programme was huge, as expected, 163 project proposals have been submitted.

The KAPPA Programme is financed by the EEA and Norway Grants. The Programme is expected to run from 2020 to 2024. The minimum duration
of projects under KAPPA Programme is 24 months. The Programme is focused on applied research and international cooperation between
the entities from Czechia, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. In total, almost 32.5 million EUR will be distributed. We expected to support about
30 projects. 

In the 163 project proposals, there are 96 small and medium-sized enterprises involved, including 24 from the donor states. 102 international project partners joined: 84 from Norway, 8 from Iceland, 2 from Liechtenstein and 8 from third countries. 

Currently, the evaluation of the fulfilment of the call conditions is in progress, i.e. the eligibility check of all project proposals submitted and all
of the applicants and project partners. TA CR will publish the results of the eligibility check after its completion.
